Dedicated to providing guidance and strengthen critical care nurses by providing professional development, research, guidelines, and training to ensure patients and their families receive highest level of care.


  • Establish national critical care nursing standard of care
  • Create a website page containing our vision, value, mission, goals, activities, achievements, and scientific interaction corner
  • Promote and support network among critical care nurses regionally and globally
  • Participate and provide regular educational programs, webinars, and critical care nursing conferences
  • Incorporate Simulation based learning in critical care nursing
  • Invite subject matter experts to discuss and address important topics in critical care nursing
  • Collaborate with regional and international organizations known in providing excellent recommendations in critical care nursing
  • Empower patients and their families on all aspect of critical care, keep them informed and treating them with respect and dignity
  • Promote the development of compassionate critical care

Nursing chapter includes four working groups:

  • Group 1: vision, mission, and gaols (Dr. Omaimah, Nada, Fatimah)
  • Group 2: Scientific content (Maha, Samira, Dr. Omaimah)
  • Group 3: Public Relation & logistics (Najla, Abdullah, Rasha)
  • Group 4: Research & Journal Review (Abeer, Maha, and Khalid)

  • Obtained several posters awards and contributed as primary author and co-investigator to several publications and review articles at distinguished journals such as New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), Annals of Thoracic Medicine Journal, BMC of Psychiatry, BMJ Simulation, and Saudi Critical Care Journal (SCCJ).
